Strategy & Exam Techniques for BITSAT

1. Master the BITSAT Exam Pattern

Understand the structure: 150 questions in 180 minutes covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Logical Reasoning. Speed and accuracy are crucial.

2. Prioritize High-Scoring Topics

Focus on chapters with more weightage like Mechanics, Electrostatics, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus. For English and Logical Reasoning, daily 30-minute practice is key.

3. Time Management & Smart Guessing

Don’t spend more than 1 minute per question in your first round. Flag tricky ones and return later. Avoid wild guesses as negative marking exists (-1).

4. Use the Bonus Question Feature Wisely

If you complete the main 150 questions early and are confident, opt for the 12 bonus questions. But note: you cannot go back to previous ones once you opt-in.

5. Take Realistic Mock Tests

Practice full-length BITSAT-style mocks under timed conditions. Use analysis tools to identify weak areas and track improvement.

6. Build a Formula & Concept Sheet

Keep a quick-access revision sheet for formulas, shortcuts, and must-know concepts. Revise it daily in the last 2 weeks before the exam.

7. Stay Calm & Optimistic

Stress hampers performance. Stay confident, eat healthy, and get proper sleep. Trust your preparation and give your best effort on exam day.
